Dream Interpretation

So far, we’ve talked about the conscious efforts you can make to invite psychic prediction, but half the time, it’s your unconscious mind that’s at the helm. Dreams can be a way for the universe, your spirit guides, or even your own subconscious to reveal important messages to you. Anyone can receive meaningful dreams, but you’ll notice the more you become in tune with your psychic abilities and the universe, the more you will receive these messages. The interpretation of dreams has been practiced for centuries in all manner of ancient societies, and it is still used frequently today.

So how do you tell if your dream is trying to tell you something or if it’s important at all? Well, usually, some element or elements stand out clearly and vividly and make an impression on you while you’re in the dream, and that you remember when you wake up. If you forget the dream, the chances are it wasn’t important. Sometimes there will be a figure that will directly tell you something that you will remember when you wake up. Often, however, it is not so clear. There may be a series of events that happen or an overall feeling throughout the dream that may be associated with some aspect of the dream, or maybe there are people or animals or anything symbolic that you see or interact with. These can all be interpreted and ascribed to your waking life. Remember that if anything in your dream really stands out to you, there’s probably something to learn from it.

If there is a figure in your dream telling you something, how they appear to you may be just as symbolic and important as the message they delivered. If in your dream you are led by a deer from the darkness of the woods into a bright and sunny clearing, the message here is easily interpreted to mean you are very stressed and in need of peace of mind (or you are about to enter a metaphorical “eye of the storm” in your life). But the deer has significance too. If you were led by the person you were in love with or a bird or your childhood pet, these could all put a different spin on the dream’s meaning and how you interpret it. If your partner led you, this might signify that if you keep moving through this rough patch, you will be rewarded – you are on a path to this haven together. A bird may signify anxiety or restlessness, a need for freedom. A childhood pet leading you may make the clearing mean your past/your childhood that you have a deep nostalgia and longing for at this time in your life. The steadiness and silence of the deer, as well as its innocent (non-predator) nature and instinctive knowledge of the forest, may be telling you to keep your head up and keep calm and you’ll get there. Of course, there are many ways to interpret these things and it also depends on the other context in the dream as well as your life.
